Color Me Rad 5K in St. George

A friend of mine sent me a text the other day and invited me to join her and a group of friends run the Color Me Rad 5K. I've seen pictures of other friends doing this run and have always wanted to do it. It looks so fun! I am signing up this morning and I am so excited! Thanks Emry for inviting me!

Tickets are on sale for $30 per person thru July 31st. I'll update this post with the regular price when I can see what that will be (after the 31st). On site registration is $56 per person. Kid's Rad Packs are $20. This option is for children 7 and under who want to receive some freebies. Children 7 and under can run for free with a signed waiver by the parent but will not receive any freebies. Paying children under 7 will receive 5K entry, a race bib, a t-shirt, a color pack, and sunglasses. All participants will receive 5K entry, a pair of awesome knee-high socks, a t-shirt, a color pack, and FREE photos from professional photographers. How cool is that? I was most excited to hear about the free photos because I was wanting to take pictures but wasn't sure about having my phone on me since I'll be getting covered with colored powders and gels. It's going to be AWESOME!

Saturday, October 17th is the big day. It starts at 9:00 am. Each group or individual will have a "wave". This is the time that you will start running. Mine is 9:10. The race starts at Ridge Top Complex, 317 S Donlee Drive, St. George, UT 84770.

feedONE is Color Me Rad's national charity partner. They provide meals for children who are hungry throughout the entire world. So not only will you be having fun but you'll be helping children get meals. Bonus.

Here's a video of what you can expect on this 5K run.
